Big Bay Whale Festival, January 26
The 5th Annual San Diego Big Bay Whale Festival is a family community event designed to spark the interest and imagination of any child in marine life. Kids will be able to walk-through a gray whale, see live sea creatures, face paint, color art murals and run through an obstacle course, train and bounce house. Live music will play on the “Whale of a stage” all day long featuring “James Gibson Band,” newcomers “Moon Dog” from Phoenix, AZ and Velvet Café from CA. Meet “Captain San Diego” and dance to “Flamenco with Roots” a youth dance group who performed last year. The festival is completely free! Families can also save $5 on harbor tours on this day.
