Are you interested in seeing what’ll be in style come 2013? Those staying in cheap hotels in San Diego can splurge on a ticket to San Diego’s  very own Fashion Week to see the new trends! Fashion Week San Diego 2012 will feature 13 local designers with ready to wear collections of jewelry, sportswear, plus size and much more!
All events including a runway show, shopping day, art & beauty exhibit and education panels will take place from October 1 to October 7. One designer has the lucky chance to win a business package to make their fashion line into a reality. The audience of Fashion Week will vote on who wins this prize based on wearability, creativity and overall production. Fashion Week San Diego aims to introduce new designers to the community and give them momentum to grow.
First Preview of collections will be available on October 5. VIP ticket holders will get the first glimpse of collections, and the chance to speak with designers about their inspiration, materials, special features, style, and much more. The runway shows and after party will happen on October 6th. Designers will present their Spring 2013 collections. Live entertainment during the show includes a behind-the-scenes mini-film on Fashion Week San Diego by Mahal Style. On the last day, October 7, guests can view and buy collections at the Trunk Show. The winning designer will also be announced.
This year’s designer line-up is as follows: plus size A’Doreus, high fashion Andre Soriano, unique Creative Fashionista, stylish Dazzlme, sportswear Dos Caras, Erin Fader Jewelry Designs, contemporary Jessica Faulkner, whimsical Kenneth Barlis, romantic Love Is a Devil, youthful nOia Collection, progressive Paul Rico, veteran Stacie May and international brand SYC Collection.
