If you’re staying in downtown San Diego hotels this November, spread the love for wine and food at the San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival! Over 200 wineries, breweries and spirits from all over the globe will participate along with 70 of San Diego’s trendsetting chefs and restaurants.
The Festival starts with a launch party hosted by Analog Bar on November 11 where you’ll mingle with friends of the fest while tasting bites from featured brands and sponsors. You can get a sneak peek of the Grand Tasting chef lineup during the Celebrity Chef Photo Shoot and enjoy the Mixology Cocktail Competition. The party starts at 8pm.
A new event this year on Friday, November 16 is called “8 Decades of Barolo & Italian Luncheon.” Experience a once-in-a-lifetime tasting experience of Barolo wines and cuisine from two of San Francisco’s finest chefs. Only 12 people will be allowed to partake in this luncheon at the San Diego Marriott Marina Kitchen. Tickets are $550.
The finale of the five-day Festival is the Grand Tasting Event on Saturday, November 17 at the Embarcadero Marina Park North behind Seaport Village. Enjoy views of the beautiful San Diego Bay and enjoy the ocean breeze as you wine and dine! 170 wine and spirit purveyors will be present to serve you, along with 70 of San Diego’s Top chefs, competing for over $50,000 in cash and prizes. There will also be live entertainment and author signing all afternoon.
